Fabric Wrapped Clothesline Trivet and Bowl
Have you seen all those cute fabric wrapped clothesline bowls and trivets and wondered how to make them? Well now you can! And they’re easier than you think!
In class you will learn my quick & easy way to wrap the clothesline and the easiest way to start it, sew it and end it! And yes-There is a trick to it! Regular sewing needle and a sewing machine with a zig zag stitch is a must. Have fun with the thread with a great variegated or choose a thread that matches your fabrics. This is a great way to use up any jelly roll strips or miscellaneous fabric from your stash. Do you have some “what was I thinking?” fabric? Now is the time to use it!
We will complete an 8” trivet for hot plates or pots and a small bowl. Bring a lunch!
This class is open to Intermediate Quilters and above. (If you have any questions about skill level, please call Molly to discuss, ages 14 and up.)
